Reporting Breaches
Information on the terms and conditions of reporting
BDO AFA OOD and BDO AFA CONSULTANTS OOD (hereinafter referred to as the Companies) are obliged under the meaning of Art. 12, Para 1, it. 2 of the Act on Protection of Persons, Reporting Information, or Publicly Disclosing Information on Breaches (APPRIPDIB). In fulfilling their obligation, the Companies share resources for receiving and handling of Whistleblowing reports.
You may submit a report under the APPRIPDIB to each Company if you are an employee, job applicant, former employee, contractor, subcontractor, supplier, etc., and you have reasonable grounds to believe that there is correct information on breaches of the Bulgarian law or European Union acts that came to your attention in the course of or in connection with the performance of your job functions or in another work related context.
Reports may be submitted in case of available information on breach, which:
- constitutes a harm to the public interest; and
- the breach of the legislation is in the field of: public procurement, financial services, environmental protection, public health, consumer protection, privacy and data protection, employment law, the commission of an offence of a general nature, network and information systems security or in other areas specified in Art. 3 of the APPRIPDIB.
You can report without fear of retaliation. Be confident that your report will be handle in accordance with the requirements of the Bulgarian law.

If you would like to report by holding a personal meeting, you can contact the contact person to arrange a day and time for the meeting at Companies’ office.
No proceedings shall be initiated for anonymous reports and/ or reports related to breaches committed more than two years ago.
