Your work as an Auditor Assistant will be related to participation in the audits of financial statements of Bulgarian and international corporations and financial institutions (banks, insurance companies, pension funds, etc.):

  • Analysis of clients’ accounting and financial information;
    • Interviews and working meetings to obtain the information needed regarding business processes at the respective company – client;
    •  Review of the control system’s effectiveness to ensure the fairness and reliability of financial statements;
    •  Performing stock-taking;
    •  Performance and documentation of specific audit procedures.

What do you need to cope with the Audit Assistant role?

  • You should be a final-year student or a recent graduate in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Audit, Accounting, Finance, or another economic major;
  • You are interested and motivated to develop in the field of audit;
  • You have good communication skills in English and Bulgarian;
  • You have theoretical knowledge and practical skills in MS Оffice (Excel, Word);
  • You are a team player who is able to observe strict deadlines;
  • You are responsible and committed to the high-quality performance of engagements and tasks.
